Bonnie and Kile

I recently completed Bonnie and Kile's wedding pictures. I may have told you about them--they were the wedding that was at the top of Rib Mountain in Wausau. We had just crazy weather for their wedding day. First sun, then rain, then the blackest skies I have ever seen, then horrible wind, and then it was beautiful out. We didn't have any rain during the ceremony which was a good thing because it was outside without any protection. Bonnie got back to me and picked out her favorite which I had to share because it is one of my favorites as well. We took more pictures at that wedding that we ever did before because of the ever changing weather conditions.

They were a great couple and you could tell they were very comfortable with each other. I loved the special looks and glances they gave each other. It made our job as photographers very easy.

This wedding also had one of my favorite non-bride and groom pictures as well. This was her flower girl who carried the rings in a sea shell. She was a beautiful girl, and very proud of her important wedding duties.

They said CHEESE!!!

Everyone thinks I must have the best pictures of my kids--but in reality it is so much easier getting pictures of other peoples children. Today was gorgeous outside so I thought I would have a chance of getting Brody's 1 year picture and maybe if I was very lucky Lily's 4 year old picture. My mom was there to help out. I got some cute ones--but of course, my favorite has my mom's leg in it. Oh well, there were some others that were good too.
My biggest surprise was cooperation from Lily. Now those of you that know her well, know that she is not a big fan of having her picture taken. Well, I bribed her with the promise of gum and I got about 5 or 6 pictures that I just love. She is getting very good at trying to pose how I ask her too, and I thing she is starting to realize that the sooner she does what I want, the sooner she gets done. She even gave me her "magic smile" without any coaxing.
